Lead Pastor

At a young age, and after the death of my grandfather, I came to a knowledge of the incredible love and amazing grace of Jesus Christ my savior. My heart came alive in a way I never suspected it could. The Holy Spirit of God sparked an undeniable hope inside of me that would ignite a fire in my soul to serve Christ and His church.

I was a Youth Pastor for more than a decade and still have a passion to reach young people for Jesus, but I also have a burden for people of all ages to know and grow in a relationship with Christ. I have been married for 11 years to my best friend and the love of my life, Kristen. Together we are blessed with four of the best kids in the universe: Sadie Lee, Miles Ray, Owen James, and Evalyn Grace.

When I’m not busy in ministry I enjoy spending time with my family at our favorite spots around town. I also like to mountain bike, play ultimate frisbee, and watch college football. Go Gators!

I became a part of the Living Word family back in 2008 and have served as a Youth Leader, Middle School Director, Youth Pastor, Family Pastor, and now I have the honor of pastoring the church family that I love. I hold theological degrees from The Moody Bible Institute of Chicago, IL and from Knox Theological Seminary of Fort Lauderdale, FL.

FUN FACTS

I won a Billy Graham scholarship out of over 2,500 people.

My favorite flavor of ice cream is salted caramel.

College Football is better than the NFL.

My favorite comfort movie is The Hobbit.
